Deadline for submission: November 3, 2008 -- EXTENDED until November 10, 2008, 5 PM Eastern U.S. Time
For more than 50 years the Title VI programs have served our national interests in foreign language and international education. We now issue this open call submissions for the Title VI 50th Anniversary Conference for individual, panel, or interactive presentations that reflect the following conference goals:
- 1. To highlight the significant impacts of Title VI programs in the United States over the past 50 years;
- 2. To demonstrate the pressing need for Title VI programs in light of current and future needs; and,
- 3. To address future directions of Title VI programs.
Submissions for the conference should be proposed for one of the eight thematic tracks. Please select the thematic track that matches your proposal from http://titlevi50th.msu.edu/thematic-tracks/. We are particularly interested in receiving submissions that address one or more of the following cross-cutting threads: issues of diversity, innovative approaches, leveraging of funding, and uses of technology.
